Chalmar Farm Kitchen (“CFKitchen”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a proudly South African brand crafting handmade soaps and candles using tallow from Chalmar Beef, beeswax, and eco-conscious ingredients. Our products are developed to be kind to both your skin and the planet.

2. Use of Our Website

By using our site, you confirm that you are of legal age or using it with adult supervision. You agree not to misuse the site or violate any applicable laws. We may limit or deny access if misuse is detected.

3. Products & Ingredients

We offer handmade tallow soaps and candles, free from:

  • SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate)
  • Palm oil
  • Mica powders

All packaging is plastic-free, recycled, or recyclable. Variations in scent, texture, or color may occur due to the natural and handmade nature of our products.

4. Orders & Payments

All orders are processed in South African Rands (ZAR). We accept the following payment methods:

  • PayFast
  • Zapper
  • Direct EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)

Orders are confirmed once payment is received. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We deliver nationally across South Africa. Shipping fees and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout. Once your order is dispatched, we will send a confirmation email. Shipping times may vary depending on your location and courier availability.

6. Refund & Returns Policy

We want you to love our products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, here’s how we handle returns and refunds:

Eligibility

  • You may return items within 30 days of purchase.
  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food)
  • Personal care items that have been opened or used
  • Digital/downloadable goods
  • Gift cards

Partial Refunds

In certain cases, only partial refunds are granted for:

  • Items showing signs of use
  • Damaged items not due to our error
  • Returns received after 30 days

How to Request a Return

Email us at cfk@cfkitchen.co.za with your order number and reason for return. Once we approve the return, send the item to:

Note: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and are non-refundable.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email. If approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5 – 10 business days.

If you haven’t received your refund:

  • Check your bank account again
  • Contact your card provider (some posting delays may apply)
  • Contact your bank
  • Then, contact us at cfk@cfkitchen.co.za

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. To request an exchange, email cfk@cfkitchen.co.za.

Gifts

If your item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the return value. Otherwise, the refund will go to the original purchaser.

7. Intellectual Propert

All content on this site – including logos, images, product descriptions, and site layout – is the property of Chalmar Farm Kitchen and may not be reused or reproduced without our written consent.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

We respect your privacy. All personal data is handled in compliance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how your information is collected, used, and protected. We never sell your personal data.

9. Liability Disclaimer

Our handmade products are crafted using natural ingredients and tested for quality. However, skin sensitivities vary. Please review product ingredients before use. CFKitchen is not responsible for allergic reactions or misuse of our products.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions. Updates will be posted on this page with the most recent revision date. Continued use of the site indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
